Happy day to everyone!
It´s our first GIVEAWAY MONDAY, which meas two things:
- there are three lucky winners
- I´m sharing with you a bit of my art, step by step :)
If you are a reader of my blog you may remember her
she was waiting for the perfect time to get a nice background and shine...♥
Tam isn´t a regular artist for me, she was the one who gave me the chance to start teaching on her willowing.ning.com art community in 2012
She even honored me asking me to be part of the first Life Book round too.
I won´t forget her trust in me, I´ll always be grateful for that.
So I decided to honor her art style and started with a collaged 1rst layer
If you know Tam´s art you may know she masters Neocolor water soluble crayons
so for the 2nd layer I used some of them
once I activate the crayons with water I add some bits of acrylics and brayer all together. I love the yummy texture and colours!
the next step was to use Tam´s Whimsy series from Artistcellar
This babies are awesome, I loved using them on my art♥
I add some houses and flowers using the stencils with white gesso and aquamarine acrylic
Finally I used markers to add colour and embelishments
aren´t these houses the cutest in town?
I´m so glad with her that I called her Just in Love...♥
