I`m blogging again people, I missed you!
I want to introduce you to The Seed, my new Mandala.
It took me more than two weeks but it worth it don´t you think?
I used Prismacolor pencils and some Aquamarkers just for the branches.

an ancient wisdom lives within me..

before moving forward to our next Totem Animal I want to share with you why sea turtles are so meaningful in my life and why this animal was the signal of something new in the horizon...
A few years ago when I startet teaching Mandalas and Meditation I had to learn how to lead people into a meditation...I was very concerned about this and had lots of questions on mymind...what if my voice isn´t gentle and disturb people, what if the relaxation was to fast, or to slow? what if, what if...there was so much roaming in my errant mind I was loosing focus, my focus.
One morning a good friend called, she leads great meditations so I talked to her about my concerns and she gave me the key, she asked me: do you do the meditation while you lead it? obviously I wasn´t...
I thought speaking at the same time I go on with the process wouldn`t be able but it was, I needed two or three classes to get used to it but it worth it.
Meditating with a group of people is very differenet than doing it alone, the arising energy of the group always makes your own meditation more powerful and intense.
With every class I feelt more confortable and aligned with my purpous and work within the group.
My meditations has mostly three stages well define, a relaxation, a visualization which ends in releasing your mind and follow your own inner view.
I never prepair anything for the visualization stage, sometimes I lead the group to the sea, others to the mountains or to their inner tree...I just flow with the energy of the moment.
One morning I started the relaxation and the images lead me and the gruop to the ocean, a deep ocean, blue, with cristaline waters...once I lead the group there I release them, and me to go where ever the mind leads us.
I started swiming, amazed for the inner silence that deep ocean took me in...and then it happened, I saw a sea turtle, huge! magnificient! you can realize it was a very ancient and wisdom animal, her energy was so gentle...she moves slowly and secure, so beautiful!
For one second to another the turtle was swimming fast showing me the beauty of the immense ocean where she lives.
Suddenly I realized I lost the turtle from my view she was there, I could feel her but couldn`t see it...I look arround just to realize that the turtle was me!... I could see how my hands weren´t hands any more they where the turtle legs, and my nose was her pic...I felt beyond words FREE, beyond words happy and in my domain, I feel back in home.
It was so hard to come back to the Earth again...but the glance of that moment is always in me because I know her power lives in me.
After that she came to me in other ways, many ways, many times, she comes in dreams, in signals...I call her and she came to me through Jay`s beautiful art, and all this became a challenge which is leading me beyond expected.

The Totem Animal Mandala Challenge 2013 starts!

Hello amazing beings!
wohoo today is Christmas day and I fell like Santa bringing you the winner of the giveaway :-)
First of all let me thank you all for your help, finally Connected to Nature was the winner so I`ll start painting her in the next few days :-)

The joy of give and receive art

Some weeks ago the lovely Cary Scholes ask me to be part of her awesome art journal and I have to say I was super excited and anxious waiting the mail since she wrote me telling the journal was on flight to Argentina♥
THE JOURNAL ARRIVE:
It was Wednesday evening before dark and I was with a group of spoiled students (believe me they`re spoiled by this teacher...I usually receive them with the most nice blend of tea and sometimes with fresh orange and apple juice I personally do).
I was at the kitchen doing some juice and one of the girls shouted:
Guada! you have mail under your door! and it`s a lovely envelope!!
I knew it was Cary`s journal so I had to stop the class and open the envelope with all my girls around :)
...and I was so thrilled, so much art and love on that pages, it was a blast!
THE ART:
I was amazed by Diana`s yummy colours and sparkle art! her mermaid was so cute and soft. Love it♥

Julliette`s Crane work was also there!! since I`m a great fan of her art being able to see it on live was an extra bonus :) Her owls are so cute and tender...so moving.

Cary not only trusted and sent me her art journal but she also sent me her sweet art.

MY ART FOR CARY:
Since Cary told me the journal was on travel I knew I`ll be doing one of my Mandalas for her, she didn´t ask for nothing special she just wrote: When it comes, you can do a one page or two page spread, whatever you wish or makes you happy!
So...ok if you give me space girl i`ll certainly use it :) and that spread of almost three pages made me very happy (by the way...the paper was superb! and the funny thing is that some days ago I discovered I have some at home but I had forget it).
All the art was done in just three days and since the minute I started until I finish it that quote was on my mind like a Mantra :
You are perfect, You are Unique, You are Loved.
I knew that mesage wasn´t just for me so I pass it to her journal...like I love to say to my students
"we are just the messenger, just empty yourself and let the real things remain"
I don´t know Cary a lot and of course I haven`t meet her in live, at least not in this life ;)
I don´t know where she lives or if she has a dog or a cat...? lol
but I had a blink of her soul in her art and I know there`s a new friend crossing the ocean and I spect sometime my dear Universe allowes me to hold each other on a big hug♥
Please remember: Your Art is the prove of the sparkle of God you are.

Working just in black and white it opens us to new creative resourses, it makes us work hard in finding new textures and blendings.

Moms are wise...

My mom is one of my best friends, with my 41 years I learned that she´s a wise woman first because she has the experience of a hole life and second because she loves me like no other being in this world.
Yesterday we were drinking some coffee in our favorite coffee store, just talking about every day life issues and she told me a few words that really meant a hole world for me, specially coming from her.
The last months I draw and paint as crazy but I was focused in other tipe of paintings, I work a lot in mix media and portraits.
But moms are wise...so I follow her advice and started this one yesterday night.

She told me "you need to start painting Mandalas again..."
